Public comments

Do you target certain people or communities for coverage?

Johnson: We have trouble getting people to talk on certain issues, but getting those people to talk is very important and “sells the story.”

Is there such thing as too much information, information overload? Are there venues for accurate, trustworthy information?

Gray: Public television. A rating is a measure of poeple’s interest in a topic. People vote with their remote controls.

Johnson: Advertising dollars are drying up because of decreased circulation.

Trouble getting information…

Have any of you had trouble accessing information under FOIA?

Johhson: There is a good tradition of getting information out in Montana. Working under FOIA in Montana is easier than on a national scale.
